One of those nights when a wide angle lens just couldn't be wide enough... The white streak running along the bottom is Spray Lakes. Mount Nester is in the center. Light pollution from Canmore on the right and distant Banff on the left are split by the mountain and illuminate the cloud bank that rolled in about twenty minutes after this photo was taken and pulled a curtain over all of those beautiful stars . If you follow the white of the Lake, and look up where it ends on the right, you will see the V shape of West Wind Pass, with Mount Charles Stewart to the left, and The Wind Tower to the right View less
